1. Overview
We provide a process for the submission of complaints concerning content posted by our Members. Please note that whether or not we disable access to or remove content, VecTrade may make a good faith attempt to notify the Member who posted the content that we have received a complaint.
Any notice or counter-notice you submit must be truthful and made in good faith. A false notice or counter-notice may give rise to personal liability under applicable law. You may wish to seek legal counsel before submitting a notice or counter-notice.
2. Repeat Infringer Policy
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, to disable or terminate the accounts of Members who infringe or repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others or otherwise post unlawful content. We may take such action at any time, including after the first instance of infringement.
3. Notice of Copyright Infringement
If you believe in good faith that your copyright has been infringed by content on VecTrade, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent (see Section 4) containing the following:
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
- A description specifying the location on our platform of the material that you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to permit us to locate it (e.g., URLs);
- Your contact information, including email address, mailing address, and telephone number;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
4. Designated Copyright Agent
All notices of copyright infringement and counter-notices should be submitted to our Designated Copyright Agent:
VecTrade — Copyright Agent
Email: Contact Us
Subject line: “Copyright Infringement Notice” or “Counter-Notice”
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe that a notice of copyright infringement has been improperly submitted against you, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that removal or disabling of the material was a mistake or that the material was misidentified;
- Your full name, email address, mailing address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, and that you will accept service of process from the complainant or their agent.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within the timeframe prescribed by applicable law that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material.
6. Other Content Complaints
For issues other than copyright infringement — such as reporting inappropriate content, trademark concerns, or false profiles — please contact us at Contact Us with a description of the issue. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
